| The live rack of Cisco equipment is for the exclusive
use of www.howtonetwork.net members. You are given 10 hours access when
you join (100 for gold members and unlimited hours for platinum) and can top up your hours for $2 or less per hour. Your live
rack is available 24/7 365 days of the year and time spent on the rack
counts towards your hands on experience when you apply for IT jobs.
Once you join the site, please go through the training lessons. The
training is designed to help you get the most out of the rack system and
to teach you how to connect to and configure the equipment. There are
some do's and don'ts you will want to bear in mind when you use the
rack. This is to prevent any damage to the equipment or accidental loss
of router and switch images.
We recommend you start off your first session with the CCNA basic
rack and then as your confidence builds you will want to take on the
challenge of configuring the advanced and switching racks.
