How to Network Tip of the Week #64 – 27th November 2008
===========================================================
Welcome to the sixty-fourth www.howtonetwork.net tip of
the week.
===========================================================
More Students Passing
Congrats to the below students who passed their exams last
week:
Ricardo Padilla who said:
‘I passed today (4rth try!) with a 860 score. I wanted to
thank you for your help with this endeavour. This is
something I have been looking to achieve for years and
after stumbling into your site (via some other forums) I
was able to gain the confidence and push I so terribly
needed. Everything helped; however especially access to the
racks is KEY to gain the hands on troubleshooting and ‘do
it yourself’ learning experience.
Robert Szymanek passed his ICND2 making him a fully
fledged CCNA.
Well done to both of you.
===========================================================
BIG Competition
In December I am going to be announcing a big competition
with a large cash prize. This will be to incentivise
those who want to pass their CCNA and would like to join
a challenge.
The prize will be worth up to 3 months average US or UK
salary.
===========================================================
CCNP Content
The BSCI is being written as we speak and we are hoping to
start adding it to the site in a few weeks.
All of the BSCI labs will work on our advanced rack but we
will also be adding a special CCNP rack to the live racks
in the near future.
When that is all done and the other modules added we are
confident to say that you will be able to study and pass
the CCNP via www.howtonetwork.net
===========================================================
Ezine Articles
I have added a couple of articles to the below site which
you will find useful if you are studying towards your
CCNA or CCENT.
===========================================================
Private Coaching
There is now only 1 place left on my private coaching
programme. While others want to ‘think about it,’ the ones
who have stared have all booked their exams for 5 weeks
time, have their study manuals, 7 hours of CCNA videos in
their box set and 100 hours of rack time. Oh, and also
private coaching from me every week plus e-mail support.
If you want the last seat please click on the below link.
I do not have time for any others after this last seat
until well into the New Year but by then, I will probably
be busy adding all the new CCNP content.
By the way, there is very little in it for me to offer the
coaching. I just about cover my costs but that is it. As
you know, I am developing many other projects for 2009 so
coaching is something I do to help people who are really
serious about passing their CCNA this year and want
somebody to support and encourage them through.

Cisco Videos
We are developing a very large set of CCNA videos which
you will be able to buy from the site. It will be broken
down into several areas including WAN, Switching, Routing,
Troubleshooting, Disaster Recovery etc. They will be made
available on a USB drive so you can plug and play whenever
you wish.
They will not be the same videos available on the site.

CCNA Simplified – Out Now
If you haven’t ordered your copy yet then it isn’t too
late. The first run of copies are now in the hands of
their proud owners.
Members get a special price plus an extra 10 hours rack
time when they invest in a copy.
