How to Network Tip of the Week #60 – 30th October 2008
===========================================================
Welcome to the sixtieth www.howtonetwork.net tip of
the week.
Has this newsletter really been going for 60 weeks now? So
much has changed on the site and so many people have
passed their CCNA and CCENT.
Looking forward – I am adding some new departments. The
first is a glossary of Cisco IOS commands you will need to
know and how to use them. I will be adding an audio version
of the weekly tips.
Next year we will be adding Cisco Network Academy support
tools and resources as well as looking at the CCNP for
those of you who want to take your knowledge to the next
level.

More Students Passing
Congrats to Rajarajan.S who passed his CCNA with a very
healthy 966.
===========================================================
New CCNA Cram Guide
I have made some changes to my famous Cisco CCNA cram
guide. There is a new audio version available as well
featuring the changes. The latest version is now 2.2 and
I have taken out some older info and added NAT and
corrected a few minor errors.
Any comments or suggestions for the next version is very
welcome.
I will record the audio version either tomorrow or early
next week. I want to get it out on itunes as well if
anybody knows how to do that.

New Challenge Labs
Now there is no excuse for failing your CCNA or CCENT.
There are two new videos and configs uploaded to the
challenge labs page. PPP and CDP labs, both of which are
good candidates for your CCNA exam.

CCNA Boot Camp – UK
The CCNP boot camp is now sold out. If you want to come on
a CCNA boot camp we have spaces on courses in:
Manchester
Birmingham
North London
South London
Cardiff and
Reading
People are now realising that without the CCNA they are
not even going to be called for an interview. I’m afraid
the recruitment companies use a database and search on
that term for networking roles.

Show Reel Video
We have added a video show reel for our CCNA course, on it
you can see me chatting about the course but more
importantly the students who came and passed.
I can see other companies alleging that CCNA weekend
training doesn’t work and trying to build themselves up by
knocking others which is very lame. We let our results
speak for themselves.
===========================================================
Private Coaching
There are now only 3 places left on my private coaching
programme. It includes 100 hours on the rack plus a set
of CD ROMs with over 7 hours CCNA videos. Not to forget,
phone coaching from me to get you through your CCNA ASAP.
If you want to snap up one of the last places please visit
the below page:

CCNA Simplified – Out Now
If you haven’t ordered your copy yet then it isn’t too
late. The first run of copies are now in the hands of
their proud owners.
Members get a special price plus an extra 10 hours rack
time when they invest in a copy.

CCNA Articles
I have added a few CCNA and study articles to my IT
training site www.networksinc.co.uk and if you are still
studying for your CCNA or CCENT you will find some of them
very useful.
