How to Network Tip of the Week #61 – 5th November 2008
===========================================================
Welcome to the sixty-first www.howtonetwork.net tip of
the week.
Phew…just over seven weeks to Christmas! Arrggghh. But
if you want to set a goal and work hard for a few weeks
you could be a CCNA or CCENT well before that.

More Students Passing
Congrats to Daniel Collins who passed his CCNA with 930
and Nigel Edwards who also passed his CCNA.

New CCNA Audio Cram
The new version of the CCNA audio cram guide is out in
mp3 format. You can download it at the download centre
and happily listen to it whilst driving, on the train or
enjoying your morning workout.

New YouTube Videos
There is a cool new intro to our YouTube videos. I love it
and I hope you do too. This is the first of many videos
showing you the most useful commands you will need to know
as a CCNA and how to use them on a live network.

Cisco SDM Simulator
Thanks to James Carroll, one of our most active students
who found a great SDM emulator which you can download
and use for no charge at all. And it is supplied by Cisco
themselves so you can be sure the quality and features
will be great.
This is a great way to get some SDM hands on experience
for your CCNA exam.

New CCNA Cram Guide Out
I have made some changes to my famous Cisco CCNA cram
guide. There is a new audio version available as well
featuring the changes. The latest version is now 2.2 and
I have taken out some older info and added NAT and
corrected a few minor errors.
Any comments or suggestions for the next version is very
welcome.
===========================================================
New Challenge Labs
Now there is no excuse for failing your CCNA or CCENT.
There are two new videos and configs uploaded to the
challenge labs page. PPP and CDP labs, both of which are
good candidates for your CCNA exam.

Live Cisco Racks
Due to lack of use, I am going to have to open the live
Cisco racks to the general public. I aim to open them up
in the next few weeks.
There are over 60 empty rack hours every day between the
three racks so you should still have no problems booking
a session. If they get too busy I will close applicants or
add more racks.
===========================================================
Private Coaching
There are now only 2 places left on my private coaching
programme. It includes 100 hours on the rack plus a set
of CD ROMs with over 7 hours CCNA videos. Not to forget,
phone coaching from me to get you through your CCNA ASAP.
If you want to snap up one of the last places and pass
your CCNA this side of Christmas then please visit the
below page:

===========================================================
CCNA Simplified – Out Now
If you haven’t ordered your copy yet then it isn’t too
late. The first run of copies are now in the hands of
their proud owners.
Members get a special price plus an extra 10 hours rack
time when they invest in a copy.

CCNA Articles
I have added a few CCNA and study articles to my IT
training site www.networksinc.co.uk and if you are still
studying for your CCNA or CCENT you will find some of them
very useful.
