New Members Passing
Well done to James Scharoun who is a member of the site and
passed his CCENT last week with a very respectable score.
Congratulations to Ben Jackson who passed his CCNA this
week. As soon as a friend of his found out he had just
passed his CCNA he put him forward for a highly paid
contracting role in London.
Who says that you can’t use the CCNA to get a job?
Will you be the next to pass your Cisco exams? If you are
not a member then you are missing out.

A Day in the Life of a CCNA
Have you ever wondered what a CCNA engineer gets up to
during a typical day at work? Well you need no longer
wonder because we have asked Daniel, a newly qualified
CCNA from this site to tell us what he gets up to.

Cisco Release New Foundation Exams
It is all very hush hush at the moment but in the next few
weeks Cisco will be releasing the first of several new
foundation exams. Some providers are already offering the
first of the new exams called the IINS – Implementing Cisco
IOS Network Security.

Are You Ready for the CCNA Exam?
It can be a very dejecting experience to fail the CCNA exam.
Especially if you feel you have put in a lot of study time
and have given it your best shot.
With a strict study schedule involving daily labs, theory
and practise exams then you are giving yourself the best
chance possible. The only reason we fail is the exam is
due to lack of preparation.
The below CCNA prep test will ask you if you have covered
all the necessary areas listed on Ciscos CCNA exam syllabus.
You would need to be able to answer ‘correct’ to each
question in order to be ready for the exam. Bear in mind
that the CCNA has about a 50% pass rate so it is still
considered to be a tough exam by all in the IT industry.
