Use

This command displays information about the hosts that are configured with the ip host command.

Syntax

Router#show hosts

Example

simple

In the below example we use show hosts to verify the hosts that are configured on R2.

R2#show host
Default domain is not set
Name/address lookup uses domain service
Name servers are 255.255.255.255

Codes: UN – unknown, EX – expired, OK – OK, ?? – revalidate
temp – temporary, perm – permanent
NA – Not Applicable None – Not defined

Host Port Flags Age Type Address(es)
R1 None (perm, OK) 0 IP 1.1.1.1
R3 None (perm, OK) 0 IP 3.3.3.3
